Peacemaker Helen

Today it's April 1, April Fool's Day as they say. It's also Sunday, and I managed to find a little time to blog. So I am presenting the first of a new collection of one of a kind rings :)

Regardless of whether Helen was actually 'the face that launched a thousand ships and burnt the topless towers of Ilium', or not, she sure must have been beautiful! When I made this ring, I imagined her as a peacemaker.

A vintage carved lucite bead in the shape of a Greek Ionic column was made into a ring that carries an aura of Troy with it... Beautiful, semi precious jade, turquoise, plastic flower beads, pearls, a bronze heart, even a tiny brass tassel dangle from this amazing gold over brass, adjustable ring. The colors are reminiscent of whispering waves and inviting shores, sand and turquoise blue, with gold dominantly shining through them, like the glorious sun!

The ring is available here. Let me know what you think!
