The pictured necklace is one of my favorite creations, made with papier mache and ceramic beads, and then handpainted. It looks very much like the necklace you can see in one of the video clips by Maraveyas Ilegal (yes, I'm a fan)... It is a very fun ceration and will make the winner of the giveaway very happy!

Το καλοκαίρι είναι επίσημα εδώ, ας το γιορτάσουμε! Η Αμορόνια με περηφάνια κηρύσσει επίσημα την έναρξη των συμμετοχών για την κλήρωση του Πρώτου Δώρου στο Μπλογκ! Ο διαγωνισμός θα διαρκέσει δέκα ημέρες, και το αποτέλεσμα θα ανακοινωθεί στις 3 Ιουλίου.

Το εικονιζόμενο κολιέ είναι μία από τις αγαπημένες μου δημιουργίες, φτιαγμένο από χαρτοπολτό και κεραμικό πηλό και έπειτα χρωματισμένο. Μοιάζει πολύ με το κολιέ που θα δείτε σε ένα από τα βίντεο κλιπ των Maraveyas Ilegal (ναι, είμαι φαν)... Είναι πολύ διασκεδαστικό και θα κάνει το νικητή/τη νικήτρια πολύ χαρούμενο -η!

Maraveyas - Amoronia: Coincidence? I think not!

I had made this wonderful summer necklace in late summer 2009, so I'm now having it on sale in my Etsy shop.




The necklace belongs to a series of necklaces in that style, made with hand painted papier mache and ceramic beads, using my own tested and tried papier mache recipe (!) and a combination of those with satin cord and vintage button closures. They truly are very fun necklaces, and a customer who recently bought one was really happy with it.

What I recently found out, when I happened to watch the video of a Greek song I quite like, was an interesting detail... Maybe you want to see for yourselves? After all, it is a nice, happy summer song... Enjoy!!!
