Love Unconquerable in Battle in Nude and Black

I decided to make my popular Sophocles quote necklace in a longer version, to go with all the latest fashion trends! Plus, nude and black is an amazing color combination, classic, elegant and yet so now!

Notice the long, crocheted cord detail...  Just imagine wearing this with a lace dress or a flowing silk top... Superb!

Recycled Leather Tassel Necklace and Earrings

One of the most exciting things for me is to be able to turn material that I manage to rescue into beautiful jewelry. I salvaged some really nice leather in a very rich and organic looking bone color, but kept it for some time in my box, as I didn't have most of the tools needed to work with leather, wondering what to make with it. Then a few days ago... Eureka!

Tassels are really in fashion: Beaded tassels, chain tassels, and why not, leather tassels! For a second I hesitated, thinking that the result might have too much of a 'hippie' look, but I went on with my original thought, and I really like the fact that both the necklace and the earrings are simple, 'clean' and, ultimately, sophisticated and elegant! It helps that the leather is in a lovely, easy to combine with floral and colorful prints, neutral off-white shade. Both pieces can be combined with the sophisticated '70s spring summer trend, without being loud, because I kept them simple: It seemed that adding beads, charms or other elements would make them 'heavy'.

Both are now available in my Etsy shop.
