Greek Fashion Designers on Etsy: MuMusyros

MuMu organic is the first brand from Greece producing organic women's clothing. It was born in the beautiful Cyclades islands in 2009 by the designer Athena Bentila and the artist Roland Wakker.

MuMu organic is dedicated to creating breezy, light, handmade dresses that are produced locally in Greece with a commitment to using fair-trade, eco-friendly fabrics, providing beautiful women's clothing of high quality.

The Cyclades Islands of the Aegean Sea, with their blue skies and cobalt-colored waters are only few of the factors that provide MuMu with the inspiration for its organic collections. In those collections you can find solid colors, playfull patterns, charming colourful dots, and a very fine threadwork pattern, always in 100% organic fabrics.

You can find MuMu on Etsy, or in the company website. The new collection has just been launched!

Greek Tea For Breakfast

Good morning! I usually have a cup (or two) of granny-picked Greek herbal tea in the afternoon, but I decided to try one of these three Krocus Kozanis products for breakfast.

Which shall it be...? The Greek Saffron Black Tea, with lemon and spearmint, the Organic Warming Herbal Tea with Greek red saffron and spices or the Organic Traditional Herbal Tea with Greek red saffron and honey? Notice my favorite cup from Ireland... :) What a nice color match! Hmm...

Exotic Earrings, Pearls and Coconut Shell Buttons

The current host of the EST weekly challenge is Sandra of zsazsazsu1963 and the lovely theme she picked is Seeds and Pods. I made a bracelet and earrings set with tagua nuts and beads, but I sold it before I even took a picture, so I had to think of something else. Then, I remembered I had rescued a few coconut shell buttons a few months ago, and had kept them for when the inspiration was right...

These are one of a kind. Look at the flower carvings on the coconut shell! I think it's lotus, and I have a feeling these buttons were made in India. They measure a rather large 17mm in diameter, and they look perfect combined with potato pearls. Amazingly elegant and so fashionable too!
