For this necklace I was inspired by father Zosima the elder's teachings, from the Brothers Karamazov. And today it's also a very happy, glorious, sunny day... Perfect! Have a nice weekend everyone :)

The sun on flowers in March

With all the cold and the rain and the wind I didn't have time to see what was happening to these flowers in my balcony... Today there's glorious sunshine and I saw this:

I haven't altered the photo at all, this is exactly how sunny it was at approx. 3:00 p.m. Glorious indeed!

Bohemian Like You Long Necklace with Buttons in Flower Colors

To take part in this challenge, I created a long colorful necklace, for which I used old and vintage buttons. The colors that are fashionable this spring are named after flowers, so I really enjoyed this theme. Thanks Eva!

Flowers By The Lake

This week, the winner of the European Street Team weekly challenge and new host is juanitatortilla, who picked the theme Hills and Lakes. You can see the relevant post, as well as all the entries for the challenge, in her lovely blog here.

Now, keeping in mind the theme Hills and Lakes, I started thinking of the wildflowers that grow around lakes. It helped that the weather was starting to get warmer and there was plenty of sunshine... So I made this bracelet using reclaimed beads in shades of blue and pink, and combined them with an image of a pink and yellow flower from an old book. Everything is connected using brass wire or chain and antique bronze findings.

This bracelet is suitable for smaller wrists too, as it closes in three separate lengths. It is definitely going to be your favorite bracelet for spring!

Prague, Spring

Those of you who have been in Prague will probably agree with me when I say that this is a place you somehow want to keep coming back to. I am so happy and grateful for some special treats I had this time I went there: dry weather, coldish yet OK temperature for a Greek gal like me, and even glorious sunshine! Aaaaaah!!!
